Assistant to associate professor Therese Nilsson. My primary task has been to construct a panel data set on municipality level with quality indicators for elder care in Sweden. I have also worked with gathering historic data on primary school grades from the 1930s from over 100 municipalities.

Research lead for the Professor Clair Brown’s research team, developing the Sustainable Shared- Prosperity Policy Index (SSPI). Responsibilities included literature review, data compilation, imputation, analysis and report write-up.

Was on the highest-ranking Nordic team at the World Universities Debating Championship 2017. Attained championship titles at Helsinki Open 2017 and Lund Inter-Varsity 2016. 6th best first-year debater at the Oxford Inter-Varsity 2016.

President

Head organizer of Lund Inter-Varsity 2017 – a 3-day international debate tournament with over 150 participants from 20 countries. Responsibilities: accommodation, travel visa assistance, meals, logistics, volunteer coordination and marketing. Budget: €13000.

This improved my ability to work under pressure, analyze complex problems and communicate efficiently.

Protus Camps

Camp Leader

Worked with a team to plan and execute 12 fully scheduled days for a group of 22 camp attendees. This improved my ability to handle conflicts and my communication skills.

Stony Knoll Youth Services

March 2015 – October 2015

Project Leader: Nordic Cultural Exchange

Stony Knoll Youth Services (SKYS) is a charitable corporation in San Diego established in 2001 to assist at-risk young men and women. I began working with them during an exchange year in Shanghai.

Initiated the exchange program, organized housing, recruited a team of 18 volunteers and planned two weeks of activities including visits to Tallinn, St. Petersburg and Helsinki.
